Man United Sources: Big Antony update tonight

Man United will accept permanent and loan offers for Brazilian winger Antony this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The 24-year-old will be allowed to leave on loan so long as his £100,000-a-week wages are covered by the bidding club.

The forward joined United from Ajax in 2022 for £86m but has struggled despite scoring 35 minutes into his debut in a 3-1 win over Arsenal.

After a string of disappointing performances, Man United and Erik ten Hag are looking to offload the winger and build upon the signing of £59 million Leny Yoro.

The signing of the 18-year-old French centre-back has been regarded as a massive coup after Man United beat Champions League winners Real Madrid to his signature.

Man United will use Antony funds to continue transfer momentum

Since joining the club, Antony has struggled to live up to the hype that saw Man United buy him for £86 million.

The Brazil international scored just once in 29 Premier League appearances last season, a goal against Burnley during their 1-1 draw in April. This was his first goal contribution in 23 games for the club.

After the recent INEOS takeover, United are in the process of rebuilding their squad following a disappointing Premier League season in which they finished 8th.

With the signing of Leny Yoro secured, the club will have to raise funds before making any more big money moves.

In other news, London club open preliminary talks to sign Man United first-XI star.
