'Man United will sign Viktor Gyokeres' after Sky update - reaction

Man United supporters are confident that they will sign Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres in the future after a new reveal.

Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports reported that United have now made initial contact regarding a potential summer move, with the 20-time champions firmly interested in the 26-year-old.

However, it was also noted that Ruben Amorim will need to sell some players to link up with his former striker.

Amorim was the man who signed Gyokeres to Sporting CP and the new United boss is now keen to buy him for a second time in a bid to bring him to Old Trafford.

Man City have also intensified their interest in Gyokeres, while Football Insider previously reported that Arsenal and Chelsea are also in the race for his signature.

Gyokeres has caught the attention of several top European teams with his performances as he’s scored 16 goals in 12 games across all competitions.

United fans have claimed that Amorim “was always getting his man,” while others believe that signing Gyokeres means they’re winning the Premier League “next season.”
