Man Utd interested in signing Sofyan Amrabat on permanent deal on one condition

Manchester United are interested in negotiating a new deal with Fiorentina to sign Sofyan Amrabat after informing the club they will not trigger a €20million (£16.8m) buy option.
Amrabat joined United on a season-long loan last September after excelling for Morocco at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The 27-year-old largely struggled during his first season in the Premier League, however, failing to make his mark in midfield.
While he was not a consistent starter in the second-half of the campaign, Amrabat did force his way back into the side at the end of season, impressing in final league games against Newcastle United and Brighton before his excellent display in the FA Cup final against Manchester City.
United’s loan deal last year included the option to make the move permanent this summer which the club have declined to take up, Fabrizio Romano reports.
United however do remain interested in keeping Amrabat at the club and are willing to discuss new terms.
United have made two signings this summer, bringing in Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro from Bologna and Lille respectively. While United also remain eager to sign another centre-half, a new holding midfielder is also on their list of targets.
United are keen to bring Manuel Ugarte to Old Trafford with the Uruguay international keen to make the move with personal terms thought to be agreed.
Talks between United and Paris Saint-Germain are ongoing with the futures of a number of current midfielders uncertain.
Casemiro is among the clutch of players who have been made available for sale this summer with United this week rejecting an offer from Fulham for Scott McTominay.
Christian Eriksen has one more year left on his contract but struggled for game time under Erik ten Hag last season.
In addition to Ugarte, United are also interested in Spain and Real Sociedad star Martín Zubimendi.
