Newcastle United fans have urged the club to purchase AC Milan’s Malick Thiaw this summer.

Football Insider revealed on July 13 that the Magpies were concentrating on Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori as defensive targets.

A new report has stated that Newcastle have now reignited their interest in Thiaw, with fans wanting to see the deal completed this time.

The Italian giants are keen not to lose the central defender this summer, but it’s believed he could be bought if the right offer was made.

AC Milan values the 22-year-old at £33.6million and would be an ideal signing considering Jamaal Lascelles and Fabian Schar are currently injured.

Newcastle fans would ‘love’ Malick Thiaw deal to be done this week

With pre-season in full swing, coaches are starting to prepare their teams for the upcoming campaigns.

That places further pressure on clubs to get deals over the line, and Newcastle fans want to see a potential deal for Thiaw done sooner rather than later.
