Nottingham Forest fans explode as 'shocking' new Brighton footage drops

Nottingham Forest fans are raging once again as new footage of their controversial clash with Brighton has emerged on social media.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men secured an impressive 2-2 draw at the AMEX to continue their unbeaten league run, but the game was clouded by a refereeing disaster.

Morgan Gibbs-White was sent off despite referee Rob Jones gesturing that he had got the ball in the challenge, leaving the away supporters incensed.

In the aftermath of the sending-off, both Nuno and Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler were also dismissed after their reactions to the initial red card.

However, this was not the only controversial incident of the game.

Brighton took the lead of the game shortly before half-time courtesy of a free-kick from Danny Welbeck – although new footage has raised questions about the referee’s decision.

As Kaoru Mitoma skipped past Ola Aina outside the box, the Japan international went to ground despite footage appearing to show no contact from the defender.

As the footage did the rounds on social media, fans’ anger at the officials has been reignited as they continue to take out their frustrations.

A third incident from the game saw Brighton’s Simon Adingra avoid punishment as he appeared to rake his studs down Alex Moreno’s calf – once again leaving fans fuming.

There has been no shortage of controversy emerging on social media following the ill-tempered clash with Brighton, with plenty of bad blood in the game.

Following the latest footage to emerge on social media, Forest supporters have continued their ongoing criticism of the officials and incidents from the clash.
