'Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be announced as Wolves manager' after confirmed news

Wolves fans have backed former Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to replace Gary O’Neil at Molineux Stadium as the next manager.

The Midlands giants cut ties with their 49-year-old head coach following the 2-1 defeat against fellow Premier League strugglers Ipswich Town.

TNT Sports revealed pictures that showed Solskjear was in attendance at the game this past weekend, fuelling speculation that he could be the man to replace O’Neil.

It is widely believed that he was watching the game to see his friend Kieran McKenna, but the 51-year-old is also the bookies favourite for the vacant job.

The Norwegian coach has been out of the game since 2021 when his time at Old Trafford was brought to an end, but Solskjaer could be set for a sensational return to the Premier League in the near future.

Wolves currently sit 19th in the Premier League table after 16 games and have the worst defensive record in the division.
