McGrath shared what he’s been hearing about Spurs’ striker search.

“What I’ve been told is that Spurs had a shortlist of about four strikers, Solanke being one of them, and over the last few days, people I’ve been talking to point towards them working on that,” McGrath said.

“This is the one that people have been talking about them looking at.”

The England international has it all, and he’d be such a good fit for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Not only is Solanke a clinical finisher these days, he’s got a unique blend of pace and strength, while he’s also a creative force.

Factor in that he’s already proven in the Premier League, and this, in a lot of ways, starts to look like the perfect signing for Tottenham.

The ‘brilliant’ striker could be a revelation in north London if he makes this move, and, by the sounds of things, this deal is a concrete possibility.
