Patrick Bamford's Leeds deal to be 'terminated' - fans reacts

Leeds United fans think it would be better for the club to cut their losses and release Patrick Bamford after the striker missed out on their 2-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday due to injury.

Daniel Farke’s side earned a comfortable victory over Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday thanks to goals from Brendan Aaronson and Dan James.

However, Bamford, 30, was nowhere to be seen, excluded from the squad due to a slight hamstring injury.

The striker has failed to make an impact for Leeds so far this season, failing to make a single goal contribution in the 112 minutes he’s played so far.

Thanks to Mateo Joseph’s strong pre-season, Bamford has fallen down the pecking order at United and has only made one start in the club’s opening four games.

Leeds United should release Patrick Bamford

This comes just days after Football Insider revealed (August 19) that Leeds United want to keep Bamford beyond the August 30th transfer deadline day.

With his consistent injury problems and lack of fire-power in front of goal, fans seemingly disagree with the decision made by the club.
