Rangers winger Vaclav Cerny has been called up to the Czechia squad ahead of the November international break.
The 27-year-old has been an incredible addition to Philippe Clement’s squad since joining on loan from Wolfsburg during the summer, and could be about to add to his 20 international caps to date.
The Light Blues confirmed the news in a repost via their official X account [8 November], with Czechia set to face Albania and Georgia in two UEFA Nations League clashes.

Clement will, of course, be watching through grasped fingers as the in-form winger jets off on international duty during this next two-week break, but he deserves it.
The manager cannot afford any more injuries after Tom Lawrence’s new update, being sidelined for between four and six months, and a blow to Cerny would be even worse.
Notching six goals and five assists in all competitions since arriving at Ibrox, the winger has reignited his career after completely stalling during a first season at Wolfsburg.
He is definitely one of those players that fans are warned not to fall in love with, only for the fans to do exactly that and are heartbroken when the club don’t make the move permanent at the end of the season.
The exact same happened with Abdallah Sima, who was an incredible breathe of fresh air during his time in Scotland, but is now living the high life with Brest in the Champions League.
Cerny has shown his abilities on the right wing, overcoming some early adversity to begin shining under Clement, and fans will be hoping to see him continue that form on international duty.
Obviously, the most important thing is that he returns to Ibrox unscatches, and fans will be keeping a close eye on him until he touches back down in Scotland after the international break.
