Rangers player training with first-team now unlikely to play another game for club - report

Ianis Hagi is unlikely to be included in the Rangers squad again after being demoted to the B Team against Middlesbrough, according to Football Scotland.

The news outlet reported on 5 August that despite being moved to the B Team for a game, he continues to be training with the first team.

That said, it seems like an exit is inevitable this month for the Romania international.

Rangers must look to get a high transfer fee for Ianis Hagi

Gers should actively engage with interested clubs to negotiate a fair transfer fee for Hagi.

This involves being proactive in discussions and setting a realistic asking price based on his market value and potential.

The 25-year-old’s performance in international competitions, such as the European Championships, can be used to increase his market value.

Highlighting his contributions and the attention he garnered in these tournaments can make him a more appealing prospect to potential buyers.

It’s also important that Gers look for a permanent sale and get the money upfront as it’s clear the Romanian does not have a future at the club.

This would allow the Ibrox outfit to recoup some cash which can then be used to strengthen other areas of the pitch.

Generating interest in a player who’s had injury issues in the past and has not got consistent game time over the past few seasons may be a challenge.

In other Rangers news, the club’s board may now push to sign a striker that Philippe Clement does not admire.
