Report: Arne Slot could sign £1.5m star who won MOTM vs Man City to replace Mo Salah next season

Arne Slot is having a dream start to life at Liverpool.

Moussa joined the Dutch club after Slot’s departure, but the report suggests that the two could join forces at Liverpool.

It has been revealed that the Reds boss is ‘fascinated’ by the Algerian’s talent and has been ‘charmed’ by his performances.

The report also suggests that Mohamed Salah’s ‘imminent departure could precipitate’ Moussa’s move to Anfield in 2025.

Moussa joined Feyenoord for just £1.5 million in 2024. It remains to be seen how much the Dutch side will demand for him if Liverpool come calling.

Anis Hadj Moussa won Man of the Match award vs Manchester City

Liverpool absolutely battered Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola is going through the roughest patch of his career, and although the Reds were the latest side to cause City some pain, what Moussa and Feyenoord did to them was more humiliating.

The Dutch giants came back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 against Manchester City in the Champions League. They did so in the final 16 minutes of the game.

Moussa began that comeback with a goal in the 74th minute, and he was handed the Man of the Match award at the Etihad following his display.

The Feyenoord winger is still only 22 years old. If he can continue his development in the same way, he will become a star one day.
