Arsenal and Liverpool are battling it out in the race for the Premier League title and could be set for another coming together in the transfer market as well.
Both sides have started the season well and played out a 2-2 draw at The Emirates yesterday to hand Man City an advantage in the title race.
However, when it comes to the transfer market, both Liverpool and Arsenal consider them just as an attractive proposition as City and the pair are keen to keep on building in future windows.
And according to reports, the pair could now challenge for one of Serie A’s top attacking talents.
Arsenal and Liverpool both want to sign Juventus forward
According to CaughtOffside, the English duo are both looking into the possibility of signing Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz.
Yildiz has emerged as one of the standout talents over in Serie A and is already a star for Turkey, where there are high hopes for both he and Arda Guler.
Interestingly, Guler himself is wanted in the Premier League by the likes of Tottenham and Aston Villa.
Currently playing with Juventus, Yildiz scored his first two goals of the season this weekend in a thrilling 4-4 draw with Inter Milan.
It’s suggested Arsenal are taking a look at Yildiz as they look for players to share the burden with Bukayo Saka down the right side.
Liverpool are also looking at the Juventus ace as they continue to scour the market for potential Mohamed Salah replacements.
Yildiz more talented than Cristiano Ronaldo
Plenty of talents have emerged in Europe over the last few seasons and it looks like Kenan Yildiz is the latest player to catch the eye.
However, there is good reason behind the hype, given a former coach of Yildiz has suggested he is even more talented than a certain Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Two years ago many big clubs were interested in him,” Turkey under-19 coach Soykan Baskar has said.
“Yildiz is more talented than Cristiano Ronaldo. His technique with the ball is superior to that of Portuguese.”
It seems, then, that Yildiz is very much one to watch and at just 19, seems to have a huge future ahead of him in football.
