Eddie Nketiah is not the only Arsenal player Bournemouth have had an eye on this summer.
The Gunners’ Premier League season begins on Saturday with a game against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium.
The game is the most important thing for Arsenal now, but fans are also keeping a close eye on the transfer market to see who else will come in before the window shuts.
A few players could leave Arsenal too in the coming days. Nketiah is one of them; here’s the latest on another.
Bournemouth enquire about signing Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal
Aaron Ramsdale’s Arsenal future has been up in the air for several months now, and GiveMeSport have shared the latest on the situation.
The Englishman lost his place in the side to David Raya in September 2023. That caused a lot of debate at the time, but Mikel Arteta’s decision proved to be the right one in the end.
Arsenal have now signed Raya on a permanent deal, and the Spaniard is expected to be the number one in the 2024/25 season.
That means Ramsdale will be on the bench more often than not, which is not ideal at all as he is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old is attracting a lot of interest this summer. Ajax have had a bid rejected for Ramsdale, but they aren’t the only side keen to sign him.
The report claims that Atletico Madrid and fellow Premier League side Bournemouth have both enquired about signing Ramsdale this summer.
However, Ajax remain confident a striking a deal and the Dutch giants reportedly believe that Ramsdale is keen on a switch to Amsterdam.

What have Bournemouth decided about Eddie Nketiah?
After Marseille signed Elye Wahi, many people believed that Nketiah’s next destination would be Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium.
However, in what is a big blow to Arsenal, the Cherries decided to sign Evanilson instead.
Arsenal fans have since been worried that Nketiah’s move to Bournemouth is definitely off now, and their fears are about to come true.
The Daily Mail claim that Bournemouth are set to drop their interest in Nketiah and are no longer going to pursue a move to sign him.
That complicates things for Arsenal, who now have just two weeks to find a new club for the talented England striker.
