Report: Real Madrid want to sign £125m Arsenal target as long-term Luka Modric replacement

It’s claimed Madrid see Wirtz as a player who can replace the long-serving Luka Modric.

Arsenal are also keen on Wirtz, who could end up costing a huge fee of around £125m if he is to leave Bayer Leverkusen eventually.

Wirtz has been lauded as a potential ‘superstar‘ back in his homeland and has starred under Xabi Alonso in recent seasons.
