Rangers have officially appointed Andries Ulderink as their new assistant manager, with an exit update suggesting that no further changes are expected in management roles, according to The Rangers Review.

The club announced the news via their official website [28 June], with Ulderink bringing a wealth of coaching experience from clubs like Royal Antwerp, FC Twente, Ajax and Reading.

Ulderink joins Philippe Clement’s coaching staff, alongside Stephan Van Der Hayden, Alex Rae, Brian Gilmour and Colin Stewart.

Despite the appointment, there are no expected changes to the existing roles of the Ibrox staff [Rangers Review], meaning no further disruption.

Andries Ulderink appointment comes amid numerous challenges at Rangers

Rangers’ decision to appoint Ulderink as assistant manager comes at a time of increasing turmoil at Ibrox.

The club is grappling with logistical headaches caused by delays in the renovation of the Copland Road Stand, which means they’ll have to find temporary venues for their early-season home fixtures.

Murrayfield has emerged as a potential alternative, though the distance could complicate matters for supporters.

This latest development comes amid a summer of significant change at Rangers, with some key players departing as well as administrative figures.

And, as the club works through these challenges, they are also trying to strengthen their squad ahead of the new Scottish Premiership season with new signings like Connor Barron, Jefte and others.

As of today, the club faces a race against time to resolve these issues and ensure they’re well-prepared for the challenges ahead both on and off the pitch.

In other Rangers news, the Gers stance on a summer move for Danny Armstrong has emerged amid links with the Kilmarnock man.
