The Friedkin Group have prioritised deciding on an organisational structure at Everton and strengthening the board of directors, according to The Athletic.
The news outlet reports [8 November] that the news owners’ primary focus will be ending the leadership vacuum at the top of the club.
In search of their new CEO for the Toffees, TFG have enlisted the help of a renowned sports executive recruitment company, Nolan Partners, with ex-Roma CEO Lina Souloukou and Fulham’s Alistair Mackintosh being spoken to already.
Everton need a revamp under the Friedkin Group
The Blues are set to move to Bramley-Moore Dock at the start of the next season, and the arrival of the Friendkins will usher in a new era for the club.
While the Goodison faithful will be happy to see the back of Farhad Moshiri, multiple things are happening at once, leaving Everton in limbo for now.
It’s encouraging to see that the new owners have already started making plans once they have completed the takeover.
The Toffees have had some unstable years under Moshiri, with several managerial changes and poor recruitment.
All of that has led to the current predicament the Blues see themselves in, with Sean Dyche having to bail out the club from relegation battles in the last two seasons.
The English manager is currently struggling to bring the best out of the players at his disposal, with the 16th in the league table ahead of the November international breaks.
Apart from figuring out the structure at the top, it will be interesting to see what TFG will decide to do with the managerial situation once they arrive at Goodison.
