Report: Tottenham have an 18-year-old youngster who has 'wowed scouts from Europe's top clubs'

Tottenham Hotspur have a number of hugely talented young players coming through.

Spurs have often come under a lot of criticism for their recruitment – not just of established senior players but also youngsters.

In recent years, however, Tottenham have improved massively in that regard, and they are slowly building an incredible squad for the future.

One Spurs teenager is so good that he has seriously impressed several scouts from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Tottenham unlikely to loan out Lucas Bergvall after he ‘wowed’ scouts

Tottenham sealed the deal to sign Lucas Bergvall earlier in 2024.

The talented Swede is one of the most exciting young players in Europe, and several clubs across the continent were chasing his signature.

At one point in January, it looked like Bergvall was headed to the Camp Nou. However, Tottenham stepped in, invited Bergvall to North London and convinced him to reject Barcelona.

Spurs fans are now seeing why.

Bergvall has been amazing for Tottenham in pre-season. He has produced a few eye-catching performances, and it’s clear as day that he has a bright future ahead of him.

In his column in the Mirror (August 4 2024, page 72), Ryan Taylor has revealed that Tottenham are extremely unlikely to send Bergvall out on loan this summer – he will stay and be a part of the first team.

Furthermore, it has been revealed that before Spurs signed Bergvall, the teenager had ‘wowed scouts from Europe’s top clubs’.

Tottenham have two other extraordinary young talents

Bergvall is an immensely talented player, and Tottenham fans are rightly excited to see how good he will be in a few years’ time.

However, the Swede is not the only young player who is making a great name for himself.

New signing Archie Gray, who is also just 18 years old, is an incredible young talent, and he has been very impressive for Spurs in pre-season so far.

The biggest talent at Tottenham, however, might just be Mikey Moore.

The 16-year-old has already made his senior debut for Tottenham and has been absolutely amazing for Spurs in pre-season. He too has an incredible future ahead of him.

If all of their developments go to plan, Tottenham could easily become one of the best teams in the Premier League in a few years’ time.
