Report: Tottenham 'superstar' wants play for Ange Postecoglou despite receiving interest from Real Madrid
Music to the ears of all Spurs fans ????
Tottenham Hotspur are now gearing up their efforts for the new campaign following their victory over Hearts on Wednesday night.
Focus will now turn to their next upcoming friendly against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday which will provide another opportunity for Ange Postecoglou to assess his squad.
There were some seriously impressive displays from the host of faces who featured for Tottenham at Tynecastle.
Some performances could well have saved the careers of certain individuals in north London and others could have kickstarted their promotion to Postecoglou’s first team.
But Daniel Levy has shown his ruthless side this summer in allowing players to depart the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, there is one player who certainly will not be moving on this summer despite receiving interest from the likes of Real Madrid.

Tottenham ‘superstar’ is determined to stay despite Real Madrid interest
It was not just the big guns which were on display at Tynecastle, Spurs were also able to showcase some of their young talents.
And, it has to be said, it was the youngsters who put on a show for Postecoglou after the break with some exciting prospects showing their ability.
Will Lankshear didn’t waste any time in demonstrating why Postecoglou will have to consider him ahead of the new campaign.
The same can be said about Mikey Moore who got his name on the scoresheet as his continues to impress despite being just 16-years-old.
According to GiveMeSport, Moore is keen to remain at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium despite interest from elsewhere.
Despite being of such a young age, the Englishman has already garnered interest from clubs like Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
“I think Mikey Moore still wants to stay at Spurs. He’s a highly-rated talent and still only 16 years of age, so we always need to be a little bit careful in how we report these things,” said Ben Jacobs.
“We’re still talking about a young teenager, and it’s important that the hype is not overblown at this stage because there is never any guarantee with players until they turn 18 and have that first professional contract, or obviously end up as first-team players. But it is true to say that Mikey Moore is a top talent, and Tottenham’s expectation is that he will stay at the club.
“The family are very grounded, as is the player, and they’re flattered by links with both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. PSG downplay any kind of concrete move at this stage, and Tottenham are still optimistic that he will stay at the football club because it’s the right place for his development.”
How much football could Mikey Moore play this season?
After his impressive 2023/24 campaign, Moore has already been labelled as a future ‘superstar‘ with expectations extremely high.
Whilst playing in the U18 Premier League, Moore was able to return a staggering 17 goals and 12 assists in just 22 appearances.
Clearly, he is ready for the step up from the U18 league but whether he is quite ready to make the step up to the senior side on a permanent basis is yet to be seen.
Postecoglou clearly has a lot of faith in him having called him up to first team training and giving him his Premier League debut.
But Moore is likely going to need regular action to continue his development and the majority of that could come from Wayne Burnett’s U21s.
