West Ham United are currently in pursuit of a new right-back after a deal for Noussair Mazraoui fell through this week.
The Hammers have done well in the market this summer, making three new signings including Max Kilman.
However, attempts for West Ham to sign a number of other players – such as Mazraoui, Fabricio Bruno, and Jean-Clair Todibo – have proven unsuccessful.
An agreement was reportedly reached between the Hammers and Bayern Munich for Mazraoui, but talks then collapsed on the player’s side.
West Ham are now looking at alternatives, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka of Manchester United said to be back on their radar.
However, he’s not the only option. According to The Times, the Hammers have been quoted £20million for an “unbelievable” alternative.

West Ham quoted £20million for Kyle Walker-Peters
The player in question is Kyle Walker-Peters, who is back in the Premier League with Southampton.
The Times have reported that the Hammers are in talks with the Saints, who have quoted £20million for the right-back.
Walker-Peters’ contract expired in 2025, so Southampton’s best chances of recouping a decent fee for the 27-year-old will be this summer.
What can West Ham fans expect from Walker-Peters?
Walker-Peters would be a solid Premier League-proven option for the Hammers if he were to join.
The 27-year-old came through the ranks at Tottenham and made 48 appearances before leaving for Southampton in 2020.
Walker-Peters has made a real name for himself on the south coast, with 167 outings to his name. He has also won two caps for England.
He has done so well that speculation did the rounds last year linking him with the likes of Spurs and Arsenal.
Walker-Peters has been labelled ‘extraordinary‘ by former Saints boss Ruben Selles, while Dele Alli once deemed him “fantastic”.
