‘There’s a feeling’: Journalist says he’s hearing Tottenham could try to sign ‘special’ player

Tottenham Hotspur have signed some incredible young players in recent times.

From Archie Gray to Lucas Bergvall, it’s clear that youth recruitment is one of Spurs’ top priorities at the moment.

Antonio Nusa is another player Tottenham have looked at signing, making a serious move for the winger in the January transfer window.

Things have gone quiet on the Nusa front as of late, but according to Ben Jacobs, speaking on the London is Blue Podcast, there’s a feeling that Tottenham could go in for the Norwegian again this summer.

Tottenham could go back in for Antonio Nusa

Jacobs shared what he knows about the ‘special’ attacker.

“Then the last name I would throw into the mix is Antonio Nusa who Chelsea have been linked with before,” Jacobs said.

“There isn’t a fear from suitors that he isn’t going to be attainable or that he won’t struggle for fitness because of the back and knee problems he has had.

“Brentford haven’t come back in, there’s a feeling that Brighton might and also Spurs, so Chelsea will have to move quickly if they want to enter that race.”

Tottenham move would make sense

A move for Nusa would make the world of sense for Spurs given what we’ve seen Tottenham do in the transfer market recently.

Spurs are clearly prioritising building for the future, and at the age of just 19, it’s fair to say that Nusa is a player who has bags of potential who could be a star of the future in this Spurs side.

Of course, there’s only so many young players you can sign if you want to compete in the here and now, but this young man is talented enough to make an impact at first-team level for Spurs immediately.
