Rangers have already undergone some major changes since the start of the summer transfer window.

The Gers have welcomed five new faces to the club and have said goodbye to first-team regular players such as Ryan Jack and Borna Barisic.

Although making five additions to any squad is already a large overhaul, Philippe Clement isn’t set to stop there.

Players such as Oscar Cortes and Ross McCausland are likely to stay at the club but both Todd Cantwell and Tom Lawerence have been subject to rumours linking them to exits from Ibrox.

The former is the one that has been most heavily linked, and thanks to his latest social media antics, it feels as if he has accepted that he won’t be representing Rangers next term.

Not only does this mean that a replacement will need to be found but it also means a player of similar quality and experience will need to be added.

Enter, Callum O’Hare.

Why Rangers should sign Callum O’Hare as a Todd Cantwell replacement

On 1 July, Coventry City took to X and wished farewell to O’Hare as the attacker chose to leave the club upon the expiry of his contract.

Back on 1 March, the Gers were being linked with a move for the 26-year-old [Tom Collomoss] when rumours around his future started to make themselves known.

And, although nothing more has been said on the Gers’ interest in the attacking midfielder, a move for him wouldn’t be the worst of ideas.

As Clement has said himself, his next signings need to include experience due to the youthfulness of his additions so far.

O’Hare has played a total of 269 games across the entirety of his career with the vast majority of them coming in England’s second tier.

His versatility alongside his stellar form last season (14 goals and assists in 36 games) would make the former Aston Villa man a peach of a signing for the Gers should they wish to make a move.

It would also provide them with many options across the pitch and would ensure they are covered on all attacking fronts.

In other Rangers news, Scott Wright has been offered an Ibrox exit from a Championship club.
