What Yang Min-hyeok did that frustrated Ange Postecoglou
It may only be Archie Gray that has arrived this summer as a new face who will play a part from the start this season but Yang will be an exciting addition in January.
And he was certainly able to show just why Spurs were so keen to sign him this summer with his performance from the start in Seoul.
Starting the game on the wing, Yang was able to get the better of his man on a number of occasions as he looked really bright on the attack.
“The 18-year-old who only made his K League debut this year flew away from Emerson Royal. Lovely turn,” said commentator Rob Daly.

Shortly after this, Postecoglou was seen on the sidelines tearing into his players during a quick water break.
The Spurs Play commentator then added: “You can hear him [Postecoglou] say ‘you’ve got to go man for man!’ We have seen on occasions where Team K League – remember this is not a group of players necessarily familiar with each other – have played through Spurs’ press.”
It really was an impressive showing from the new Spurs signing who certainly got the better of the defence a number times.
What Ange Postecoglou said about Yang Min-hyeok
The 18-year-old winger is still incredibly early on in his career – even in the K League – with just 24 appearances to his name.
However, he has shone in his early showings in his homeland with eight goals and four assists to his name in those games.
And it is apparent Postecoglou has been left delighted with Tottenham’s signing of Yang with the Australian feeling they have brought in a real quality player for the future.
“We’re delighted to have him as part of the club,” said Postecoglou.
“He’s someone who was identified by our scouting department. We’re always looking to the future as well as the present. He’s a very exciting player.”
