Given he’s not involved in the England set up this week and so many Arsenal players are away, there’s little else to do in north London besides pondering Raheem Sterling’s potential impact.
Arsenal nabbed a four-time Premier League winner in the final hours of deadline day, and Sterling still has a point to prove.
Right now, it’s hard not to conclude that Mikel Arteta could be the perfect man to resurrect Sterling’s career, he’s already experienced a similar redemption story with Kai Havertz.
Moreover, what adds to the drama further, is the fact that Sterling will likely make his Arsenal debut in the upcoming north London derby.
And ahead of the occasion, Arteta has decided to call up a fair few youngsters to first team training, spotted alongside Sterling at London Colney.

Of the quintet, 17-year-old Shuaib has been earmarked as a very interesting talent, perhaps one that could play a role under Arteta one day.

The 6ft 2inch midfielder was hailed for his calming presence on the ball, sitting as a number six on that occasion.
And given both Thomas Partey and Jorginho are now in their thirties, there could be an opportunity in years to come.
Ethan Nwaneri ready for bigger role at Arsenal
When talking about Arsenal youngsters, it’s almost impossible not to mention Ethan Nwaneri’s name.
And with Sterling now at the club, Nwaneri has another excellent role model to learn from.
Nwaneri will have already been learning a lot from watching Bukayo Saka in training, another English talent he’ll be hoping to follow in the footsteps of.
And given Sterling will often get minutes for Arsenal on the left wing, he may find himself playing alongside Nwaneri, who has been trusted as Arteta’s left-sided number eight.
An incredibly exciting time at the club, and it seems as if Arsenal have a big plan for Nwaneri’s future.
