'A bit more' - Four Lads issues update on Rangers buy option for Neraysho Kasanwirjo

Rangers may have to pay a bit more than £1.5million to secure the services of Neraysho Kasanwirjo permanently, according to Four Lads Had a Dream.

Gers signed the 22-year-old Dutch defender this summer from Feyenoord on a season-long loan with the option to buy.

While Four Lads’ Stevie Clifford admits that it is not confirmed, when asked if the price was £1.5million, he admitted that it was allegedly a bit more.

Via X, he wrote: “It’s not been confirmed. It’s allegedly a bit more.”

Rangers must look to sign Neraysho Kasanwirjo permanently at the end of the season

Gers must secure Kasanwirjo’s services on a permanent basis as his versatility across the backline is a significant asset, allowing him to fill in at right-back, centre-back and even left-back when necessary, providing the team with much-needed flexibility.

His ability to adapt to different positions has been evident since his arrival, demonstrating that he can hit the ground running, which is crucial for a club aiming to compete on multiple fronts.

At just 22 years old, Kasanwirjo not only brings youthful energy but also the potential for growth and development into a key player.

His international experience with the Holland Under-21 side further indicates his readiness for higher levels of competition.

Investing in him now could prove to be a cost-effective decision in the long term, as he is likely to increase in value and performance, becoming pivotal in Rangers’ defensive setup for years to come.

His valuation is only going to shoot up in coming years so this can be viewed as a long-term investment by the club.

In other Rangers news, sources have issued an update on the club’s new CEO to take over James Bisgrove’s role.
