'Always one weird result' - Roy Keane predicts result of Everton clash v Fulham at Goodison

Roy Keane has predicted Everton will stretch their unbeaten run to six matches in all competitions against Fulham on Saturday 26 October.

The Sky Sports pundit has backed Sean Dyche’s Toffees to pick up a point against former Blues boss Marco Silva’s side at Goodison Park, predicting that the points will be shared in a 2-2 draw.

Fulham have failed to win either of their last two matches in the Premier League and make the trip to Merseyside off the back of a 3-1 loss to Aston Villa, but Keane thinks the clash could throw up a “weird result”.

Speaking on Stick to Football (24 October, 1:01:40) he said: “A draw all day. Ah, lads, it’s 1-1 or 2-2, a Desmond.

“There’s always one weird result isn’t there like Bournemouth beating Arsenal. We’ll go for a Desmond.”

When do Everton and Sean Dyche next play at Goodison Park?

It’s safe to say the pressure on Dyche and his Everton side has eased over the last couple of weeks at Goodison Park, primarily because of some much-improved displays on the field.

Only a matter of weeks ago, pundits and fans alike were expecting the Blues to make a change in the dugout and tipping them to be dragged into the relegation battle, whereas now, most seem to expect them to dodge the drop.

While a draw against Fulham wouldn’t be the perfect result, it would be a step in the right direction once again for the Toffees as they look to put some distance between themselves and the bottom three of the Premier League.

Hopefully, Jarrad Branthwaite will be back fit and available to return to the fold having missed the win over Ipswich Town last time out through injury.

Although Michael Keane has impressed in his absence, the Toffees look much better when Branthwaite is on the pitch. It will be interesting to see whether or not Dyche risks the England international against Silva’s side.

In other Everton news, one player the Toffees are interested in is set to exit during the January transfer window
