Arsenal have enjoyed a fruitful summer on the transfer front, bringing in several key signings which have improved the quality of Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino, Neto and Raheem Sterling all joined the Gunners ahead of the deadline.
Arsenal have gone from strength to strength since Mikel Arteta took the reins, turning the Gunners from an upper-mid table side into a Premier League title challenger.
Owner Stan Kroenke has now played a part in a decision that could see the Gunners in line for a potential £580million boost.
Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke now able to sell 10 percent stake in Los Angeles Rams to private equity firms
Arsenal’s owner is also the chairman and chief executive of NFL outfit Los Angeles Rams, along with other teams across a number of sports.
As per football.london, Kroenke and other NFL owners voted in favour of allowing a new change in ownership of NFL franchises ahead of the new season.
Sportico reported that the Arsenal chief was one of 31 owners to vote for private equity to be allowed to invest in franchises in the future.
Kroenke can now sell up to a 10 percent stake in the Rams to private equity firms, potentially as many as three funds.
As per Forbes, the Rams are worth an estimated £5.8billion, so a 10 percent stake would be worth £580million.
Kroenke would be free to spend that money however he wants, including investing in Arsenal.

Arsenal could rekindle striker search ahead of January transfer window
Arsenal have invested wisely in their playing squad over the last few years which, combined with Arteta’s shrewd management, has put the Gunners back in the Premier League title picture.
There are certainly more additions Arsenal could make in the next 12 months, including a new centre-forward, in wake of prior links with Benjamin Sesko.
World-class strikers don’t come cheap, so if Kroenke were to sell some of his stake in the Rams and reinvest in the Gunners, the cash injection would certainly help.
