Celtic 'have the next Mohamed Salah' as fans wowed by forward's display

Celtic supporters have compared Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn to Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah after his performance against Aberdeen in the Scottish League Cup.

The Hoops booked their place in the Scottish League Cup final after emphatically defeating the Dons 6-0 on Saturday (2 November) at Hampden Park.

Goals from Cameron Carter-Vickers, Kyogo Furuhashi, Kuhn, and a hat-trick by Daizen Maeda secured their place in the next round as they dominated their Scottish Premiership rivals.

However, the 24-year-old right winger ended up catching the eye of the Celtic faithful with his performance throughout the match and the attacking qualities that he provided for his team.

The winger has been having an impressive individual campaign for Brendan Rodgers’ side as he had scored six goals and provided nine assists in 14 appearances in all competitions before this match.

Kuhn missed out on Celtic’s most recent match against Dundee but was out to prove a point on his return to the team.

Supporters were quick to heap praise on Kuhn for his performance, claiming that he’s having “such a good season,” while others stated he’s the “SPFL Salah.”
