Man City fans have claimed that Kyle Walker is “washed” as they have urged the club to sell the right back in the upcoming January transfer window.

The defending Premier League champions suffered their first defeat of the season on Saturday (2 November) against Bournemouth, leading to Liverpool overtaking them in the table.

Goals from Antoine Semenyo and Evanlison were enough to gain the Cherries three points at the Vitality Stadium, with Joska Gvardiol’s 82nd-minute goal being nothing more than a consolation for Pep Guardiola’s men.

Walker played the entire 90 minutes against Bournemouth, but City fans weren’t impressed by the 34-year-old’s performance – and the statistics that followed of his display were devastating.

The England international was accurate with just 13% of his eight attempted long balls, while he was dribbled past twice.

The right-back lost eight duels throughout the game and made two fouls as he struggled at points throughout the fixture.

Man City fans believe it’s time to move on from Kyle Walker

Walker’s game time has been limited this season by Guardiola, with the experienced defender only playing 90 minutes three times in the Premier League.

City fans believe it’s now time for him to move on after giving a “disaster class,” as others claimed that playing him should “be illegal” at this point.
