Chelsea fans wowed by Mykhaylo Mudryk as full stats emerge from Ukraine clash

Chelsea fans are convinced that Mykhaylo Mudryk is “back” after his performance for Ukraine against Georgia in the Nations League.

The two teams drew 1-1, but the winger impressed fans with his individual efforts as he also played a key role in Ukraine’s goal.

They found the back of the net via an own goal from Solomon Kverkveliya after the Chelsea winger had successfully dribbled and then crossed the ball, with the dangerous pass leading to the defender putting the ball in the back of his own net.

The 23-year-old was accurate with 76 per cent of his passes and created two chances throughout the match as he brought his attacking qalities.

He was successful with four of his attempted crosses and won 100 per cent of his aerial duels as Mudryk showcased his defensive work rate as well.

Chelsea supporters are pleased with the performance that Mudryk put in and believe that they’re getting the player they bought.

The Blues signed Mudryk for £62million on a whopping eight-and-a-half-year deal, but so far he has struggled to find consistent form at Stamford Bridge.

The winger has only managed to score nine goals and nine assists in 72 matches for the Premier League giants, which is significantly lower than the 12 goals and 17 assists he managed during his 44 matches for Shakhtar Donetsk.

Mudryk has shown glimpses of his potential under Enzo Maresca, having scored two goals and provided five assists in 14 appearances.
