Chelsea Sources: Significant Mykhaylo Mudryk update today

Mykhailo Mudryk is being monitored by multiple Premier League clubs ahead of January and Chelsea could accept a potential offer, sources have told Football Insider.

The 23-year-old is not playing regularly at Stamford Bridge and that has alerted potential suitors in the English top flight.

Mudryk has slipped down the pecking order following the appointment of Enzo Maresca and the subsequent arrivals of Pedro Neto, Joao Felix and Jadon Sancho.

Premier League clubs are monitoring the situation with Chelsea braced for approaches in the new year.

Sources say the Blues are reluctant to sanction an exit as they challenge for a place in next season’s Champions League.

Maresca’s side currently sit third in the table behind Man City and Liverpool.

Chelsea reluctant to let Mudryk go in January

Crystal Palace have been linked with a swoop for Mudryk in January but can only currently do a permanent deal.

The Eagles already have Trevoh Chalobah on loan and would have to sign him permanently or cancel his loan if they bring the Ukraine international in.

Mudryk has notched two goals and five assists in 14 appearances but has managed no goal contributions in just 146 minutes of Premier League action, with all of his returns coming in the cup or in Europe.

He joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023 for a reported £88.5million and is under contract until June 2031.
