Philippe Clement has axed Rangers midfielder Mohammed Diomande against Ross County on Sunday.
The Gers have travelled to Victoria Park for some Scottish Premiership action [8 December], with the match going ahead despite the threat posed to the fixture by Storm Darragh.
Clement has been told he is on “death row” at Ibrox ahead of the clash with Ross County, meaning the Belgian needed to get his team selection spot on.
And the Rangers boss has made just one change from the 6-0 Scottish Premiership win over Kilmarnock at Ibrox on Wednesday [4 December, with Connor Barron replacing Diomande, as confirmed via the club’s official X account [8 December].

Some supporters might feel as though Scottish Premiership fixtures are rather meaningless now.
A recent dagger to Rangers hearts from Celtic all but ended the Gers’ title aspirations in Scotland, with Brendan Rodgers’ side now 14 points ahead of their Glasgow rivals.
However, fans will still want to see a big performance from their team, especially with the fixtures coming up.
Following their clash with Ross County, the Gers will take on Tottenham in the UEFA Europa League at Ibrox on Thursday [12 December], a match for which they have been offered some renewed hope, before playing Celtic in the Scottish League Cup final at Hampden Park on Sunday [15 December].
Therefore, it is important that Clement’s side head into those potentially season-defining fixtures off the back of another win and with some confidence flowing through the team.
A defeat to eighth-placed Ross County could derail all the momentum which has been built recently after three straight wins. As a result, while the league might have seemingly already slipped away from the Gers, there is still plenty to play for.
In other Rangers news, a Sky Sports pundit is shocked by a “quite remarkable” stat he has seen ahead of the clash with Ross County.
