Rangers have held meetings with a number of candidates as they aim to hire a new CEO, according to John Gilligan.
The club’s interim chairman held a press conference on 23 September where he revealed that they are going through a proper recruitment process to rope in the right candidate.
Gilligan stepped into this role at Ibrox after John Bennett stepped down citing issues with his health.
He said, as quoted by Heart and Hand: “We’re well on with an appointment, been meeting with a lot of candidates. We’re going through a proper recruitment process. We need to find the right person.”
