'Could be surprises': Fabrizio Romano says 'phenomenal' player wants to leave Tottenham after Oliver Skipp
Another could be leaving after Skipp... ????
Tottenham Hotspur are now closing in on their 13th departure of the summer with an exit now imminent.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side have not yet opened up their 2024/25 campaign as they await their trip to Leicester City on Monday night.
And the Lilywhites could well be giving one of their players a lift to his new home with a deal between the two clubs now agreed.
Oliver Skipp is now set to join Leicester with a deal now agreed with Tottenham as he looks set to complete his deal on Monday.
The midfielder has already missed the deadline on Friday to be eligible to play in the game against Tottenham.
Daniel Levy has worked a deal believed to be worth in excess of £20m for the Tottenham homegrown midfielder.
But there is now another player who is pushing for a move away from Hotspur Way after seeing Skipp seal his departure.
Another Tottenham midfielder pushing for exit after Oliver Skipp
Tottenham have been able to add to their midfield this summer with the signing of Archie Gray and the arrival of January signing Lucas Bergvall.
The exits have come thick and fast with Jamie Donley the latest to officially leave Tottenham on loan for Leyton Orient.
With Skipp now set to join Leicester, Fabrizio Romano has claimed there is another midfielder pushing to leave Tottenham before deadline day.

Giovani Lo Celso is a player whose future at Tottenham does not look clear under Postecoglou as he is being eyed by clubs across Europe.
“Aston Villa and Real Betis are interested but there could be more clubs, it’s an open situation with these two clubs leading the race,” Romano said in his Daily Briefing.
“But it’s really open and there could be surprises. For sure, Lo Celso wants to leave Tottenham and his plan is clear.”
Giovani Lo Celso has never shown his ability at Tottenham
Having spent around £55m on Lo Celso, Spurs have not seen the best out of the Argentina international who so often shines for his national side.
Lo Celso has been hailed as ‘phenomenal‘ but he has only been able to provide 10 goals and eight assists in 108 appearances across his four years at the club.
It has simply not been good enough from Lo Celso but there is certainly an argument to be made that he should have been handed some more opportunities last season.
Now Spurs have plenty of options in their midfield with the like of Bergvall impressing over the summer, Lo Celso is just another player who does not seem to have a future in north London.
