Crysencio Summerville will complete £30m Leeds transfer - pundit

Crysencio Summerville will leave Leeds United this summer for a transfer fee upwards of £30million.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Scotland defender Alan Hutton explained that Leeds will be willing to let their star man go if they can bring in a big fee.

Summerville is not the only player linked with a move away from Leeds, but Hutton insists the money from selling the 22-year-old will go towards replenishing the squad.

It was also said that the winger will want to play at the highest level after impressing in the Championship where he picked up the Player of the Season award.

Football Insider revealed that Summerville has already told Leeds he wants to leave amid interest from the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea.

Hutton insisted the winger is more than capable of playing in the Premier League with a deal on the cards that would work for all parties.

“Leeds fans won’t thank me for it, but I think he will be away,” he told Football Insider.

“That’s the truth. He’s an outstanding footballer and his numbers show it with the ability that he’s shown on a regular basis.

“He’s more than capable of playing in the Premier League.

“We’re talking about high numbers now, he’ll probably cost upwards of £30million.

“Leeds want to cash in if they can because there’ll be other players that might leave who they will want to replace to help them compete.

“He’s done really well for them, but I think he wants to play at the highest level.

“Sometimes it works for all parties because you bring that value into the club as well, so I’ve got a feeling he’ll be allowed to leave.”
