Daniel Levy is still taking advice from former Tottenham managing director Fabio Paratici, according to Ian Ladyman.
The Daily Mail journalist wrote a lengthy feature piece on Spurs and chairman Levy for the newspaper’s online edition [20 December].
In the article, Ladyman shared that “Levy still listens” to Paratici, despite the Italian serving a 30-month ban from football for capital gains violations.
Fabio Paratici still having a say at Tottenham?
Tottenham fans surely thought the sorry Paratici affair was in the past, but it appears he is still having some sort of impact at the North London club.
It was in April 2013 that Paratici resigned from his position at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after being found guilty of false accounting.
Paratici was handed a 30-month ban, which was extended to have a “worldwide effect” by governing body FIFA.
That means he cannot work for any football club, and yet it appears Levy is taking advice off the 52-year-old.
To quite what extent is unknown, but it is a strange development nonetheless. Levy should surely be steering clear.
In other Tottenham news, a transfer twist has emerged involving Spurs and a player at a German club.
