Salernitana striker Boulaye Dia does not face a risk of passing his medical should Everton sign him, despite an injury-ravaged 2023/24 season according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that despite having multiple fitness issues, none of them were significant enough to cause issues with a transfer this month.
Tutto Salernitana reported [7 August] that the 27-year-old dreams of a Premier League transfer and the Toffees are among the clubs keen on signing him.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Dia:
“Certainly had plenty of injury issues but doesn’t look to be anything that significant.
“As long as there is nothing outside the norm – which Everton will be looking for – wouldn’t expect issues with his medical.
“They will undoubtedly do their due diligence and note if their style of play would not be the best in terms of his fitness record.”
Boulaye Dia will be a solid addition to the Everton side
Dia would be a quality signing for the Toffees and one they must pursue in the coming weeks.
His physical presence and aerial ability make him a strong option in the Premier League.
Everton, in need of a reliable goal scorer, could secure the Senegal international at a reasonable cost given his contract situation so this is a deal that the board would sanction as well.
In other Everton news, the Toffees are now looking to complete another transfer as a £10m+ development has emerged.
