Rangers attacker Ianis Hagi has been offered a package of £25k/week by Rapid Bucharest, according to Spotmedia.

The Romanian news outlet reported that the club want to make the Gers outcast the top earner at the club in a bid to tempt him to join.

However, as things stand, while an Ibrox exit is on the cards, the 25-year-old does not want to return to his home country.

Rangers must convince Ianis Hagi to leave as soon as possible

With the transfer window nearing its close, Gers might find themselves in a position where they need to encourage Hagi to accept an offer, like the one from Rapid Bucharest, despite his reluctance to return to Romania.

To create a market for Hagi, Rangers could highlight his recent performances at Euro 2024, showcasing his value as an international playmaker which might intrigue clubs looking for creative midfield talent.

They can engage with his agent to explore options across Europe’s top leagues, emphasising the 25-year-old’s experience in both domestic and European competitions.

Gers could also facilitate discussions with clubs where Hagi’s style of play would be a good fit, potentially offering loan deals with an option to buy to reduce the risk for interested parties.

By actively marketing his skills and previous successes at Ibrox, the club can generate interest, making his departure beneficial for all involved, especially if they can negotiate a deal that reflects his market worth.

It’s evident that Philippe Clement wants him out and the sooner he’s off the payroll and can bring in a transfer fee, the better it is for the club.

In other Rangers news, a development has emerged on Lewis Travis’ move to Ibrox amid a recent Auchenhowie update.
