Everton boss Sean Dyche will face intense sack scrutiny over the Christmas period with a daunting run of fixtures lined up, sources close to the club have told Football Insider.
The Merseysiders are on the brink of being taken over by US billionaire Dan Friedkin, with Football Insider revealing on 12 November that the deal is on track to be completed before the end of December as no unforeseen issues have emerged.
Everton face Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City in the run-up to Boxing Day with the club currently just three points above the relegation zone.
Saturday’s (23 November) clash with Brentford and the visit of Wolves on 4 December will break up a tough run of fixtures for the Toffees.
Dyche has built up huge credit with Everton chiefs during his 18 months in charge by surviving relegation in back-to-back seasons amid a difficult set of circumstances.

However, sources say the 53-year-old will be judged on results in the present when Friedkin takes over – rather than the past.
The Englishman is no stranger to sack speculation with Everton fans calling for his removal on several occasions since his January 2023 appointment.
Dyche is under contract at Goodison Park until June 2025.
Everton, who move into their state-of-the-art Bramley-Moore Dock stadium next season, have won just two of their 11 Premier League games this season.
