Everton to 'sack Sean Dyche tonight' after what fans saw against Brentford

Everton fans have taken to social media to urge the club to sack manager Sean Dyche after they failed to beat 10-men Brentford on Saturday (November 23).

The two clubs played out a scoreless draw at Goodison Park with Dyche, 53, and his side failing to break down a stubborn Brentford side.

Although unintentional, the contact was undeniable and Thomas Frank’s side were reduced to ten men just ahead of half-time after captain Christian Norgaard received a straight red card for his tackle on Jordan Pickford.

Everton were dominant from that moment onwards, having 59 per cent of the ball and 27 shots, although they only managed an xG of 1.15.

Despite failing to secure all three points, Everton climbed up to 15th in the table after Leicester City’s defeat to Chelsea in the early kick-off.

Things won’t get much easier for Dyche as they prepare to face a revitalised Man United side under Ruben Amorim in their next Premier League fixture.

Football Insider revealed (November 21) that incoming owner Dan Friedkin wants to move away from Dyche’s style of football in the future.

Fans seem to be in agreement with Friedkin, taking to X, formally known as Twitter, to urge the club to sack Dyche before it’s too late.
