'Youri Tielemans to never play for Aston Villa again' - fans gutted

Aston Villa fans want Youri Tielemans to be dropped after his penalty miss against Crystal Palace on Saturday (23 November).

Villa drew 2-2 against the Eagles at home after coming from behind twice to gain a point.

However, Justin Devenny’s goal in added time of the first half is one that left Villa fans fuming as it came directly after they had a penalty.

Tielemans was the man to step up from 12 yards, but the Belgium international failed to take the opportunity as Palace went on to punish them.

The 27-year-old has yet to open his account for the 2024-25 campaign in the Premier League and has missed three of his five penalties prior to taking this one.

It was two points dropped at Villa Park in Unai Emery’s attempt to secure Champions League football once again, with the club being three points away from the top four.

The central midfielder failed to win any tackles throughout the game, while he only won half of his aerial duels as fans have questioned his place in the team.
