Ex-Tottenham employee speculates new NFL franchise talks to net 'vast sums of money'

Bryan King claims an NFL team could soon base itself at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The ex-Spurs scout has speculated that there have already been talks of an NFL side moving over to England.

Tottenham have already hosted several NFL fixtures at their 60,000-plus seater stadium since it opened in 2019.

And King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes the partnership between Spurs and the NFL could soon move to a whole new level.

“There have even been talks of an NFL team moving and basing itself in England,” King said.

“They would then be using the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as their home.

“If that were to happen then we would be talking about vast sums of money.”

If Spurs were to become the home of an English-based NFL side, revenues would surely skyrocket.

The amount of eyeballs that would suddenly become fixated on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would be immense.

It would attract thousands of extra people to North London every year.

Whether anything comes from these potential talks remains to be seen.

However, it would be unwise of people to suggest that such an audacious plan is beyond Levy’s capabilities.
