The Friedkin Group will likely be putting money into Everton in November via further debt, according to Stefan Borson.
The finance expert claims that there likely won’t be cash injections for specific purposes, with general working capital covering the expenses.
It has been reported by Sky Sports’ Alan Myers that everything is on track with regard to the takeover and there are no delays.
Borson wrote on X: “Suspect they will be needing to put more money in this month either way via further debt.
“Doubt there will be injections for specific purposes – general working capital covers the lot.”
Everton are unlikely to sack Sean Dyche until the takeover is completed
The Friedkin Group’s approach to financing the club through further debt rather than specific cash injections for immediate operational changes suggests strategic patience in managerial decisions.
This financial strategy likely extends to decisions regarding Dyche’s future at Goodison Park.
The reluctance to make a hasty decision on the Englisman’s position until the takeover is fully completed makes sense as they still will be unware of the ins and outs daily at the club.
This approach allows them to conduct thorough assessments, engage in direct conversations with key personnel and align managerial decisions with their long-term vision for Everton.
Thus, waiting until the takeover is finalized to decide on Dyche’s fate ensures that any change at the helm would be part of a broader strategic overhaul.
Hopefully, they have clear ideas in their mind and will be bold enough to make the calls if he does not fit into their framework.
In other Everton news, the Toffees want to sign a Brazilian striker in January and he’s keen on moving to the Premier League.
