Liverpool have gone into the November international break in the best possible position, sitting top of both the Premier League table and the Champions League standings.
There were some worries in pre-season that Jurgen Klopp’s departure would lead to a period of transition as the team got to grips with Arne Slot’s tactics and methods.
However, this has not proven the case, with Liverpool sitting five points clear at the summit of the Premier League table and even leading the standings in the new Champions League group table.
Indeed, Jamie Redknapp has claimed that Liverpool can now be considered favourites for the Premier League title ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal.
Slot’s methods are proving popular with fans and players alike, with one Liverpool stalwart now saying he is very much having the time of his life playing for the Dutchman.

Curtis Jones loving life under new Liverpool boss Arne Slot
The player in question is Curtis Jones, who has gone from strength to strength under Slot at Anfield.
The 23-year-old has made 13 appearances for Liverpool this season, chipping in with one goal and four assists in all competitions.
Jones’ efforts saw Slot recently describe his player as “complete”, boasting an abundance of qualities and confidence along with superb work-rate.
In response, Jones said, as per the Liverpool media team: “I feel that I’m at the point now where I’m enjoying it the most that I have.
“I say that in terms of style of play that suits me and the love that I’m getting from the coaches and the staff all around.
“Arne and his staff have come in and the style of play and everything is changing – the way we go and press and stuff. I think it suits me more.
“As a fresh start, I’ll give it everything I can. I’m really enjoying it and the most important thing is that I’m playing with a smile on my face.”
Jones could finally make England debut
Jones is yet to make his senior England debut, but that could change during the November international break.
After failing to get on the pitch when involved in two previous squads, the in-form Liverpool midfielder has been tipped to feature in one of England’s next two games.
Lee Carsley’s side are in Nations League action as they face Greece in Athens on Thursday night and the Republic of Ireland at Wembley on Sunday.
