‘I’ve been told’: TalkSPORT pundit shares fascinating theory he’s heard about Ange Postecoglou
Wow...????
Tottenham Hotspur haven’t made the best start to the Premier League season.
Tottenham have won five, drawn one and lost five of their opening 11 games which leaves them in 11th place.

So clearly, there’s plenty of improvements to make if they’re to return to the illustrious Champions League.
Some fans have even called for Ange Postecoglou to be sacked as they’re growing increasingly frustrated with the Australian head coach.
Even members of the media are starting to find his post-match interviews challenging as he’s often quite spiky.
With that said, talkSPORT pundit Sam Matterface has now shared an interesting theory on why he comes across as so confrontational in the media.

Ange Postecoglou is purposefully being serious in the media
Speaking on talkSPORT’s Premier League All Access podcast, host Sam Matterface revealed that Ange Postecoglou is purposefully acting really serious in the media.
“What I’ve been told is, is that he’s so desperate not to be seen as sort of an Australian caricature.
“He doesn’t want to be Jesse Marsch 2, he doesn’t want people to throw the sort of Australian Ted Lasso thing at him.
“So he tries to sort of not be the playful, happy character and tries to be serious, that’s what I’ve been told.
“It doesn’t come across very well. And Mark Scott of Match of the Day has had two rather difficult exchanges with him in a couple of weeks. I know Crook and I have both had interesting exchanges with him as well over the last year.”
Postecoglou’s media antics aren’t a good look
Postecoglou’s attempt not to be characterized in the same bracket as Marsch is actually doing more harm than good.
In fact, many are starting to label the 59-year-old as arrogant and it’s only creating a negative storm around the club.
So, he should ditch the persona and be himself in interviews, after all, it wasn’t so long ago that he was the darling of the media.
