Finance Expert: Tottenham in prime position to host Super Bowl in 'Huge' developments

Tottenham are in prime position to host the Super Bowl in the near future, Dan Plumley has said.

Top expert Dennis Deninger recently admitted that London will have its own NFL franchise before 2030, with Spurs possibly hosting the Super Bowl before 2035 [Daily Mail].

Tottenham already have partnerships with Netflix and the NFL, and Plumley admits hosting the Super Bowl would be “huge” with the stadium ready for the event.

“That’s huge,” the football finance expert exclusively told Tottenham News about the prospect of it coming to England.

“It’s not beyond the realms of possibility, is it? The stadium is set up and ready for it, they’ve got the 10-year NFL deal, and we know the NFL are looking to bring flagship events overseas as well.

“We’ve said this before, if the Super Bowl was to come to England or there was a London NFL franchise, Spurs are in the prime position to pick that up.

“That is huge, we kind of laugh at Americans for their world sports that only happen in America, but the Super Bowl is one of the biggest sporting events on the planet and the exposure it brings, it’s huge.”

Daniel Levy is always looking for the next opportunity to boost windfalls and revenue at Tottenham, and this would surely be at the very top of that list.

The Super Bowl, alongside the World Cup, is the biggest sporting event across the globe and bringing it to London, more specifically Spurs, would be huge.
