Rangers may have moved closer to opening the Copland Road stand at Ibrox after the latest image shared by Four Lads Had A Dream.

The podcast posted a picture to X on 3 September showing the remaining gaps in the stands where few remaining seats are needed.

They said: “You can now see the changes beginning to take shape.”

This could see the Gers leave Hampden Park sooner than expected with an early return mooted for the Scottish Cup quarter-final against Dundee FC on 21 September [Daily Record].

Copland Road update shared amid Rangers Ibrox fiasco

The Light Blues’ stadium nightmare may be over with a return to Ibrox looking nearer than ever with the new images emerging.

The Copland Stand is looking closer to completion with small pockets in need of seats with completion looking near from the outside looking in.

This return will represent a massive boost to Philippe Clement’s side after a slow start to the season was made worse by Old Firm humiliation at Parkhead.

There was very little to be positive about in the 3-0 defeat but moving back home may add some form of joy for supporters who haven’t enjoyed their spell at the national stadium.

This will see Europa League fixtures return to Ibrox with the likes of Tottenham and Lyon coming to Glasgow in the coming weeks and months.

It is a tough time to be a Gers supporter right now but if they can look forward to anything right now, a return to Ibrox is certainly something.
