The Friedkin Group will review Sean Dyche and Kevin Thelwell and make multiple members of staff at Everton re-apply for their jobs, according to Alan Nixon.
The journalist reported via his Patreon on 17 November that the prospective new owners at Goodison will “shock” several backroom staff with this demand.
Senior names at the Toffees aren’t immune to this scrutiny as manager Dyche is to be reviewed when the American group comes in, with his current deal up next year.
Thelwell and leading scouts at the club are also set to be put through this process as Friedkin looks to stamp his authority on Merseyside.
Dan Friedkin to make Sean Dyche decision at Everton
The Roma owner looks set to come in at Goodison and put an end to months of uncertainty over the ownership situation with Farhad Moshiri.
The billionaire has positive experiences in football and clearly wants to make a splash when he makes the move to Premier League football.
This will see him review Dyche at the end of his contract, if not before, which could result in a bold move from Friedkin if the Englishman is sacked.
There have already been links to the likes of Jose Mourinho and Graham Potter in recent weeks, which points towards a change being likely.
Even if this is the case, there is no doubt that the current boss has done a positive job at Goodison regardless of what supporters think of his style of play.
There aren’t many managers who could have dealt with the points deductions and financial uncertainty while keeping the Toffees in the Premier League with relative ease.
With that being said, Friedkin has a big decision to make at the end of his review when he takes over from Moshiri.
In other Everton news, one summer signing must prove himself to Sean Dyche after the latest January transfer development.
