Rangers face a “growing concern” over Robin Propper’s inability to play the full 90 minutes in games, according to the Daily Mail.
The news outlet reported on 30 October that it’s reached a sense of inevitability that Dutchman will not be able to complete the game each time he’s named in the starting eleven.
Propper turned 31 in September and was taken off five times this season, before the game against Aberdeen.
Rangers could put in behind-the-scenes measures to aid Robin Propper
Gers could look to start a fitness regimen focusing on endurance and stamina to help him last longer in games.
Incorporating recovery techniques like ice baths or massages could help reduce muscle fatigue and inflammation, aiding quicker recovery.
Moreover, implementing a gradual build-up in training intensity and duration, alongside monitoring Propper’s game minutes with a strategic plan for substitution, could prevent overexertion.
It could also be the change in the tempo of the game and the lack of consistent performances may be playing a toll on his psyche as well.
Surely Philippe Clement and the rest of the staff at the club would have to play their part in helping the Dutchman adapt better to life in Scotland.
Hopefully, things improve in the coming weeks and if surgical intervention is needed, then perhaps he can go ahead with it and be at 100 per cent for the rest of the season.
In other Rangers news, a claim has emerged on Gers sealing the transfer of an ‘Exceptional’ SPFL player in January.
