Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott took to social media to share a video of him back in training after breaking his foot earlier in the season.
While an exact return date is yet to be confirmed, Liverpool initially took to Instagram to post videos of the youngster back in training at their AXA Training Facility in Merseyside.
Elliot has missed the last eight games across all competitions, but Arne Slot’s side have thrived in his absence, sitting at the top of the Premier League with 18 points from a possible 21.
Harvey Elliot set for Liverpool return
Liverpool have a busy schedule with seven matches over the next three weeks as the football calendar intensifies ahead of the third international break in early November.
First up is a visit from in-form Chelsea on Sunday (October 20) in what could be one of the most important games of the season for both clubs.
It’s unlikely Elliott will be back before the next international break, but news of his return to training will be a welcome boost for Slot.
The youngster took to Instagram to share his progress, telling fans he would “See you soon”.
It won’t get much easier for Slot and his boys after the Chelsea game, with fixtures against RB Leipzig, Arsenal, and Brighton all within seven days afterward.
The next month could be make or break for Liverpool and Elliott will no doubt want to help the side as much as he can.
