'Josko Gvardiol to be axed by Man City' amid 'mad' twist - fans react

Man City fans want to see Josko Gvardiol dropped from the starting lineup moving forward after his performance against Feyenoord.

The 22-year-old struggled defensively and was at fault for two of the goals that allowed the Dutch giants to come from three goals behind to draw 3-3 at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday (26 November) night.

The draw led to City dropping to 15th in the Champions League table and continued their dreadful run of form to six games without a win.

For the first time since 1963 the club has conceded at least two goals in six successive matches, with the defensive side of the game becoming an issue for Pep Guardiola’s team.

Guardiola typically likes to rotate his team an make tweaks to the starting lineup, but the Croatia international has featured in ever Premier League and Champions League game this season.

However, City supporters are now calling for a change and demand that Guardiola drop the versatile defender for their upcoming clash against Liverpool.

City supporters have told Guardiola that Gvardiol “needs the bench,” while others have claimed that he’s “mentally tired.”
